Welcome to my corner of the internet!

I am a multi-hyphenate artist and creative type based in NYC. While I work in many different styles and media, the common throughline in my work is a thoughtful, detailed, and deliberate approach, idealistic but deeply rooted in history and tradition, and incisively self-aware; always with words and writing at the center.

I strive to show the beauty in all things, even if it means coaxing it out patiently with a can of tuna.

Graphic Design

Specializing in print media, logo design, book cover design, typography, and webpage design.

Calligraphy & Painting

Offering pointed pen/copperplate styles, broad-edge blackletter, Italic, and insular for Latin alphabets; Sephardi and Yerushalmy for Hebrew; Thuluth and Naskh for Arabic scripts; Devanagari; Chinese and Kanji brush scripts. I do medieval and Renaissance-style portraiture, illustration, and illumination in gouache, watercolor, ink, and sumi-e.
